"In a letter to the Higher Education Consortium of Central Massachusetts Sept. 22, Mr. Moynihan asked member schools – which include every college in Worcester – to slash tuition by 10 percent for any student who has lived in Worcester for at least two years before applying. Students who matriculated through the Worcester public schools, he said, should receive an additional 5 percent discount."
